Aero India 2019: Bharat Electronics unveils Atmospheric Water Generator at cost of Rs 1.75 per litre

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), during the air show, has unveiled its new product, the Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG), an innovative solution to meet the ever-increasing need for drinking water worldwide. The AWG can be used to generate water from humidity present in the air. With a best-in-class technology, the AWG extracts water from the humidity present in the air, purifies it and produces safe and clean water that is suitable for drinking. The AWG can provide one litre of drinking water at a cost of less than Rs 1.75 per litre.
